City of Summerside wins Marketing Canada Gold! |
The City of Summerside was awarded a gold medal for its achievement in economic development marketing at the Annual Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC) conference last month for a set of national television commercials that aired during the Canada Games. Help us show them why they should come back! Summerside has changed a lot over the years, and we’re working harder then ever to create opportunity for people right here in our community. If you have family and friends who have moved away but wish they could come back to live and work, encourage them to start following us on Facebook
or Twitter as we unveil incentives, programs and ideas to help bring them back home.

PEI lands major Health IT company as part of Island Prosperity Strategy |
Over the past year, Prince Edward Island has been aggressively pursuing Health IT firms in an effort to fast-track growth in this sector. Last month, it announced another major return on this investment, by welcoming MDDx Corporation as a tenant in its Health IT Innovation Centre located in Summerside.
