2010: Summerside’s year to grow

In the coming months, the office will be unveiling some new initiatives and technologies that it is hoped will create real advantage for the people and businesses in our community. Our keyword is “growth”, and our 2010 activities will assist in tapping into some new areas and tools for growth.

From ramping up our ambassador program, to using technology to assist in the matching of skilled people with new companies and opportunities, to a state-of-the-art site selection tool, we will be implementing some innovative tools that will provide our clients with the most accurate and readily available information on investment opportunities in Summerside. As well, the corporation will be launching several innovative policy and infrastructure programs designed to take advantage of our collective assets and make Summerside even more appealing than it is today.

If you want to get involved, or to learn more about these initiatives, please contact the office of Economic Development at miket@city.summerside.pe.ca or 902.432.1255.
